Page Six reports on Spencer Pratt's amazingly obnoxious red carpet behavior at the Maxim Super Bowl Party at Rande Gerber's brand new retaurant, The Stone Rose Lounge, in Scottsdale, AZ Friday night.
As fiancée Heidi Montag strolled the red carpet, he trailed behind her, filming her on a video camera and blasting her new single, Higher, on a boom box he carried with him. Despite pleas from journalists and guests alike, he refused to turn it down until a TV reporter threatened to not interview Heidi unless he shut the music off. When Heidi begged him, as well, he finally did, but only "for 45 seconds!"
Of course, he then stood a few feet behind her and loudly counted out the time until he could blast the song (which will be released on Tuesday) once more.
The boorish behavior continued inside, as the "star" of The Princes of Malibu and The Hills was repeatedly instructed to shut the music off.
For her part, Heidi had no problem with what Spencer was doing, telling PageSix.com, "He's doing a great job of supporting me, so he can do whatever he wants to do." That's love for you.
