New parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden went on a double date with parents-to-be Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz in NYC last night.


Ashlee's been all about eating this week while in New York promoting her new album. Because we presume she's eating for two, everyone's suddenly interested in what and how much the singer is consuming. On Tuesday Ashlee ate at Virgil's BBQ in Midtown Manhattan and also at Italian eatery Da Umberto. While there he feasted on antipasto, mozzarella and chicken carpicciosa.
