It was previously reported that Britney has been receiving mysterious packages from a potential stalker. Now OK! Magazine says they have new details about what's got Britney's people running to the FBI.
"It started about six weeks ago with just letters being sent once a week," a source who has seen the packages tells the mag. "And then it quickly escalated to larger packages that now arrive two to three times a week — always to the same L.A. address, but never to one of Britney's homes."
"The first thing you see when you open the box is a huge, lavender-colored, battery-operated sex toy," says the source. "Still with the price tag on it." The sex toy was accompanied by two letters, one printed, one hand-written. Both letters were threatening and pornographic.
"The handwritten one is on note paper and it's written in a crazy, all-caps chicken scratch."
The package also contains a photo of a middle-aged white man with stringy, greasy hair. His eyes are cut out of the photo and he is squirting a yellow fluid into his mouth. Some believe the photo is of the sender of the package.
"It's like something from a bad movie," says the source. "If I hadn't seen it myself, I wouldn't believe it."
The package with a return address in Minneapolis, Minnesota are given to Britney's security team and then to the FBI.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's names are also written on the outside of the package.
Britney is keeping to her regular routine amid the weirdness. She went shoe shopping yesterday afternoon and later stopped by Millennium Dance Complex.
