Kylie Minogue seems to be slowing down her career pace in a bid to ‘focus on what is truly important'. Recent reports have claimed that the Aussie sensation is rekindling her romance with former lover Olivier Martinez. And now, friends of the singer have revealed that she is contemplating stepping down as the Princess of Pop and cutting back on her hectic work schedule, with the intention of starting a family. Kylie is currently completing a new album and has just wrapped up shooting scenes for her role as Doctor Who's assistant in a Christmas special show. She is also concluding plans for her own soft furnishing line, due out next February. However, the singer has insisted that after these projects, she will scale down her work commitments. "She wants to concentrate on seeing if she and Olivier can work things out, focus on herself and even start a family. After the album, there'll possibly be a tour and the final additions she wants to make to Brand Kylie, that's really it," a friend revealed. "She's already starting to focus on what's important to her. After her illness, all she wanted to do was throw herself back into music - she felt it was the best cure - but now she's ready to relax more. Her career comes second," the friend added.
