Jessica Simpson has dismissed rumours that she is planning to adopt a child from a Mexican orphanage she has been visiting since she was a teenager.
Reports that Simpson is contemplating adopting a tot from the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage started circulating after she revealed her regular trips to the orphanage with her minister father Joe during her adolescence. The 27-year-old said that the first time she saw the deprived kids she made her mind to adopt them. "The first time I went to that orphanage I was 16. I remember holding this baby who was found in a dumpster. I wanted to adopt him right away and wanted to have them before I had my own kids," Simpson told a magazine. However, Simpson's spokeswoman Lauren Auslander denied the reports, insisting that the actress had no plans to adopt a baby at present. ANI
